The PSG FAIMER Regional Institute is located at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore, India, and caters to health professionals from India and other South East Asian countries.
PURPOSE OF THE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM is to build capacity of faculty who are actively involved or interested in improving health professions education in their home institution and to nurture academic leaders who can be the change agents.
At the end of the two-year Fellowship, the Fellows will be able to:
- Become effective teachers & take up leadership roles to start or re-energize their institution’s Health Professions Education Units,
- Carry out educational research and do evaluation of existing educational programs and thereby lead to continuing improvement of student learning in their home institution,
- Mentor other medical educators in their own institution as well as in the region
- Build a Community of Practice of Health Profession Educators
Course Fee (Per Year): A nominal tuition fee of Rs 10,000 per year for 2 years.
